From the onset, RMT has sought to work with public interest organizations that promote social and environmental change. But we have always understood that a true commitment to these issues must begin at home.

Building a sustainable world

We use 100% post consumer recycled paper for our photocopies, faxes, and reports, and we encourage the use of soy-based inks for all of our clients' stock. We recycle almost all of our paper, glass, and plastic waste, and we consistently utilize "merge-purge" programs to limit dramatically the number of duplicates in our mailings—lowering the economic and environmental impact.

In 2001, we contracted with Major Environmental Solutions to conduct a rigorous study of our impact on the environment. The resulting report gave us extremely high marks for our commitment to the environment and gave us specific suggestions for improvement.

Giving back

Every quarter, ten percent of our pre-tax profits are set aside in a philanthropic fund to support the causes and organizations that we believe in. RMT matches employee gifts to tax-exempt charitable organizations with this fund.

Building a better workplace

Our company is small, but generous. We offer a company supported pension plan, a continuing education program that contributes toward tuition and books, and fully paid medical care with a choice of providers. Employees also receive fully paid dental coverage, long-term disability insurance, life insurance, and liberal vacation, holiday, sick, and compassionate leave.

Each quarter, we transfer 35% of our pre-tax profits to a profit-sharing fund, which is then divided in almost equal shares among all employees. Individual bonuses vary with the number of hours worked, but even part-time employees receive bonuses.
